The Pope has made his way to the United States for the first time! He arrived on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 to Washington D.C.

On Wednesday, September 23, the Pope had a busy day in Washington D.C.
His day began with a welcoming ceremony at the White House, at 9:15 a.m., where he personally met the president! From their he went to the Papal Parade at 11 a.m. He had a midday prayer at 11:30 a.m. in the Saint Matthews Cathedral with all of the bishops across the U.S. He concluded the day at 4:15 with a mass at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception.
Thursday, September 24 He made his way to the capitol at 9:20 a.m. He gave his speech to the Senate House of Representatives at 10 a.m. At 11:15 a.m. he visited the St. Patrick's Church. At 4 p.m. he was off to New York!
New York
The Pope arrived in New York at 5 p.m. Straight off the plane, he went to an evening mass at 6:45 p.m.
Friday, September 25 The Pope had a United Nations General Assembly at 8:30 a.m. At 11:30 a.m. the Pope had a multi-religious mass at the 9/11 memorial. At 4 p.m. he visited Our Lady Queen of Angels School. At 5 p.m. he went to the Papal motorcade through central park. At 6 p.m. he had a mass at Madison Square Garden.
Saturday, September 26 The Pope left New York for Philadelphia at 8:40 a.m.
Philadelphia
The Pope had a mass at 10:30 a.m. at the Cathedral Basilica of Sts. Peter and Paul. At 4:45 p.m. he made his visit to the Independence Mall. At 7:30 p.m. he visited the Festival of Families.
Sunday, September 27 At 9:15 a.m. he had meetings with bishops at St. Martin's Chapel. At 11 a.m. he visited the Curran-Fromhold Correctional Facility. At 4 p.m. he had a mass for World Meeting of Families. At 7 p.m. he met with the people who put together the World Meeting of Families.
The Pope departed back to Rome at 8 p.m.
